  • 1 can ackee, drained
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 scotch bonnet pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup flour (gluten-free optional)
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation Instructions

Sauté onion, garlic, and tomatoes until softened. Add callaloo and scotch bonnet pepper, cook until wilted. Gently fold in ackee and season with turmeric, salt, and pepper. For dumplings, mix flour with water to form dough, shape into small discs, and fry until golden brown. Serve callaloo and ackee with fried dumplings.
